Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitters operates two permitted camps, Hellroaring and Independence. Hellroaring Camp is located in a beautiful meadow 8 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. It is accessed by a 12-mile horseback ride south from Independence Camp. We run the early rifle elk and deer hunts as well as mountain goat, black bear and moose hunts from Hellroaring. Summer fishing and pack trips are also operated from this camp. |
